George S. Ivancevich is a 1977 graduate of Indiana University where he obtained his B.A. in Political Science, and thereafter his J.D. from the John Marshall School of Law in 1983. Since he began practicing in 1985, he has been admitted before the state bar of Indiana, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. George was previously admitted to practice before the state bar of Illinois, but is currently listed as inactive. He is also a Certified Mediator in civil and family law.
In addition to his extensive experience in the private sector, George has, between 1997 and 2005, served as a Probate Commissioner in the Circuit Court of Lake County and Magistrate in the Civil and Family Court Division, Circuit Court of Lake County, Indiana. He was also appointed by the Governor to serve on the Indiana Probate Study Committee in 1998. He has been a Continuing Education lecturer at ICLEF approved seminars, and has served as Former Master of the Calumet Chapter, American Inns of Court.
